This morning's verses talk about how He leads us to fulfill the God given destiny.
He leads us through His voice. Therefore, it is critical that we learn and grow to hear His voice. Although this is a life long journey to understand, and learn more and more about how He speaks, one of the ways He speaks is through impressions. Moses heard His voice through the burning bush. Moses was called by the Lord to lead the Israelis out of Egypt in this event. What is He speaking to us today? It may be a lifelong calling.
How did the Lord carry out His plan through Moses? When the Lord used Moses to lead the Israelis out of Egypt, the Lord fought for the Israelis even physically. But when the Lord began showing glimpses of what is to come in the promised land, He led them to fight physically in the wilderness. It was as if fighting as soldiers of the army was their occupation. This was what they continued to do and how the Lord worked through them to take on more territories that were originally theirs. Have our lives become repetitive and dull? When His seasons come to use us mightily, our daily actions become repetitive almost as a routine without changing our occupations or careers. He wants to work through us to continue to take on more territories, in this New Testament age, reaching more people and nations to advance the Kingdom of God.
Today, let us continue to seek to hear His voice. What is He speaking to us today to fulfill? In this day and age we live in, He is interested in taking more territories within the heart and soul of mankind across the globe.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
