His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 5:22-27

This morning's verses talk about how He speaks to us. 

Are we open to how he speaks to us? The Lord spoke to Moses at the mountain out of the midst of fire, the cloud and the thick darkness. The Lord even wrote the ten commandments on two tablets of stone. This may not be the way we are used to hearing from God but the Lord works through us doing a new thing. (Ref Isaiah 43:19) He may not repeat the way He spoke to us the last time. This is one of the reasons why I believe we need to continue to have faith in Him in order to please Him. (Ref Hebrews 11:6) We need to continue to have the relationship with the Lord, seeking His guidance (Ref Matthew 7:7) expecting new things to take place through us. 

Today, let us be open to how He speaks to us because He is about to do a new thing through us.
