This morning's verses talk about how we are to handle unjustified criticisms. We may be serving the Lord whole heartedly like Moses and Aaron but the people around us may be throwing criticisms at us that don't make sense. Moses and Aaron continued to serve Him, paying attention to His voice. (Ref Numbers 16:42)
So what keeps us from continuing to serve the Lord when we are receiving negative attacks from people around us? One of them could be to be consumed with their negative opinions about us. As a solution, one thing we can do is to focus our attention on what He has called us to do, forgetting what was done to us in the past. We can simply drop the matter and move on. (Ref Philippians 3:13) God is doing something new through us that brings us full of joy and peace. (Ref Isaiah 43:19) Constantly going through them, sometimes even the memorable ones, can hinder us from experiencing more and more of Jesus in our lives now and the future.
Today, let us continue to hear His voice and serve whole heartedly for the Lord. He deals with those who criticize us.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
