His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 1:26-33

This morning’s verses talk about our need for mind renewal dealing with pride. 

Are there any areas in our lives where we have become prideful, have chosen to become blind to His Wisdom that could lead us to experience breakthroughs? All that the Israelis needed was to believe in the victories the Lord would give them but they chose not to. It is important that we seek Him and we will find the Word that is needed for breakthroughs. (Ref Matthew 7:7-8) We may already have all that we need living according to His plan but it could just be the self condemnation that is keeping us frustrated with the situation we are in now that could keep us from stepping into the next level. Adam and Eve were already created in the image of God but chose to become like God, which was sin. (Ref Genesis 1:27, 3:5)

Today, let us assess where we are now in our walk with the Lord. There may be areas where we are angry about but this could be resolved through the Word of God. We are already like Christ. (Ref 1 John 4:17)
