His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 22:6-7

This morning’s verses talk about mercy towards the weak who have less power than us in this world. 

These Scriptures this morning use mercy towards animals as an example. How we treat animals who are under the authority of human beings (Ref Genesis 1:26) reveals how we treat those under our care.

Today, let us assess how we treat animals in this world. Animals may not have life eternally but the Lord tests our maturity in the area of mercy through how we interact with them.
