His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 23:1-6

This morning’s verses talk about the Lord turning other people’s curses into our blessings. 

If we belong to Christ, all of God’s promises to Abraham belong to the believers as well. In other words, His promise that He turns curses into blessings are for all of the believers to receive. We are Abraham’s descendants. (Ref Galatians 3:29)

We may have received unfair treatment, unjustifiable criticisms, illegitimate attacks etc. but the Lord lovingly turns them into our blessings. What an amazing promise. We don’t need to do anything about what others may do to us - it is only about our response to those attacks - to trust in His blessings for us. 

Today, let us trust in His blessings for us.
