His Word for Today

This morning’s verse talks about helping those in need. The world values making the most of opportunities for material gain. But the Scriptures today command not to receive interest for loans. Because He honors this, releasing what could have been gained by societal standards, He promises to bless those who act with an attitude of generosity.  Today, to whom can we be generous? He promises to bless all the works of our hands.  May the Lord continue to richly bless you!

This morning’s verses talk about the Lord turning other people’s curses into our blessings.  If we belong to Christ, all of God’s promises to Abraham belong to the believers as well. In other words, His promise that He turns curses into blessings are for all of the believers to receive. We are Abraham’s descendants. (Ref Galatians 3:29) We may have received unfair treatment, unjustifiable criticisms, illegitimate attacks etc. but the Lord lovingly turns them into our blessing

This morning's verses talk about giving to the Lord in accordance with the blessings we have received.  This means that we need to know how blessed we are. Have we intentionally thought about the things He has blessed us with beginning with salvation through our faith in Christ? We may be struggling to get to the next level in our finances, career, calling etc.. but have we chosen to be grateful for the doors that are now open because of Him? Today, let us spend time thinking

This morning's verses talk about generosity. Our generous attitude produces blessings and prosperities in all we do.  As we release our finances onto the Lord Who will then direct us to release them to those in need, we feel lighter because we are not holding onto things, (Ref Matthew 11:28-30), experience joy because it is more blessed to give than to receive. (Ref Acts 20:35) And as our soul prospers, everything else also prospers. (Ref 3 John 1:2) Today, let us seek His gu

This morning’s verses talk about financial giving and the blessings that are connected.  To whom are our finances, resources belong to? Our God is the owner of our resources and we are His managers entrusted to steward to His ways. If we are His servant, it is obvious that whatever we do shall be blessed too. If we want to live out the abundant life Christ died to give us, (Ref John 10:10) we need to deal with the money matters first.  Today, let us ask ourselves if we have r
