His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 28:18

This morning’s verse continues to talk about the consequences of disobedience.

Even if we did not receive tangible blessings, would we still obey the commandments of the Lord? Even if we did not receive promotion, financial increase, etc., we could surely experience the fruit of the Spirit, such as peace (See Galatians 5:22-23) through character transformation. (See 2 Corinthians 3:18) Wouldn’t it be wise to focus on areas of growth that have eternal value? (See 2 Corinthians 4:18)

Today, let us continue to focus on becoming more and more like Christ on the inside, which has eternal value. Abundant blessings will inevitably chase after us.
