His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 28:3

This morning’s verse continues to talk about blessings through obedience.

Wherever we are, we are blessed. What are the areas we have not obeyed that are a challenge to us? Are we having trouble letting go of offense? (See Proverbs 19:11) Are we having trouble releasing control over a situation involving people? (See 1 Corinthians 13:5) One of the ways we can experience His blessings wherever we are is through single-mindedness towards Christ’s assignment for us. We can lay aside the offended emotions and the desire for control and focus on fulfilling the assignment He has given to us. 

Today, let us continue to focus our minds on Christ, intentionally working on our character. Nothing can stop us from experiencing His blessings that overtake us wherever we are.
