His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 27:1-8

This morning’s verses talk about His Word enabling us to occupy and rejoice in His goodness when we give.

We need His Word to receive a complete knowledge of His will. (See Colossians 1:9) We may be interested in knowing which path to take in our walk with the Lord in terms of vocational career, calling, etc., but we can know His will through the Word of God and be victorious and have influence in the area He has placed us in. 

When we give, do we give with joy? The key to joy is remembering His goodness. (See Deuteronomy 26:11)

Today, let us continue to seek and receive the Word of God because this is a primary way to know His will and to hear His voice. We can then experience His goodness to rejoice when we give.
