This morning’s verse talks about what the Lord has revealed to us and what He hasn’t.
In other words, we need to constantly trust in Him because He hasn’t revealed everything to us. We have the Bible, the Holy Spirit giving us specific guidance (See John 14:26), but He says in today’s Scriptures that there are secret things. We can choose to press on each day knowing more and more about Him, but we would still have areas of unknown about Him. So our role is to go as far as we can in our growth. If our area of growth is in focus (See Matthew 6:24, Galatians 5:16) and love (See 1 Corinthians 13:5, 7), these are the areas we should work on intentionally to become more and more like Christ, today. It is the good fight of faith. (See Colossians 3:23, 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
Today, let us intentionally choose to work on the areas of our growth in our character that have eternal implications. (See 1 Timothy 6:7) We may not be able to understand the vastness of His plans for us, but we can choose to become more and more like Christ today.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
