His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 30:6-10

This morning’s verses continue to talk about being intentional about obeying the Lord.

The Scriptures teach us to love, serve the Lord with all our hearts and all our souls. This may not come naturally after getting out of bed in the morning, when we are offended by others’ rude, disrespectful behaviours, we don’t get our way, doors that we want to see open remain closed etc.. These are areas of opportunity to grow that require our good fight of faith. (See 1 Timothy 6:12)

Today, let us continue to choose to be intentional about our character growth in focus, love, and so on. Because one of the reasons why we are not experiencing Christ to the full that He desires us to is that we have not yet pressed on enough to see His promises come to pass. We should never give up the good fight of faith because at the right time, we shall see a harvest of blessings. (See Galatians 6:9)
