This morning’s verses talk about transitions and seasons.

When Moses was 120 years old, he handed over leadership to Joshua so Joshua could cross the Jordan River into the promised land. Whatever season we are in, this season will not last forever. We will move into the next season of walks with Christ.

What is He revealing to us in this season? We may tend to look at our vocations, finances, physical locations, etc., when we think about seasons, but one of the areas that lasts forever is our character. (See 2 Corinthians 4:18) In what area is He leading us to grow in this season of life to break through and become more like Christ? (See 2 Corinthians 3:18) Focus, (See Matthew 6:24) love, (See 1 Corinthians 13:5, 7) trusting in His protection (See Isaiah 54:17) are some of the essentials of Christian living.

Today, let us continue to focus on becoming more like Christ that is uniquely required in this season of life. We will be assigned His tasks accordingly.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
