This morning’s verses speak of His vengeance.

We may have been wronged, treated terribly, but we can continue to consider our challenges in a positive light as an opportunity to grow in love. (See Romans 5:3-5, 1 Peter 1:6-7) Our growth in love has eternal implications. (1 Corinthians 13:13) We can fight the good fight of faith to love others. (See 1 Timothy 6:12) This, indeed, is one of the finest ways to experience His peace, which comes after love in Galatians 5:22. On the other hand, the Lord will work on His vengeance. This is how we guard our hearts. (See Proverbs 4:23)

Today, let us continue to choose to love, keeping no record of wrongs. (See 1 Corinthians 13:5) We can leave the matter to Him for His work of vengeance.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
