His Word for Today

This morning's verses talk about the truth and the promise He has already given to us. Our role as believers is to take possession of what He has already given to us. The Lord wants us to take more territory of our souls. He wants us all to grow spiritually and others around us to know Him and grow accordingly.  Today, let us seek His guidance in terms of how we can grow spiritually. Because we have received His love, we are to share with others what He has taught us. (Ref 1

This morning's verses talk about His love for us that is unconditional but still expects us to respond in faith to experience victory.  The Lord loved Israel not because they were large in number who seemed qualified to be loved because they would be able to do what the Lord wanted them to do.  They were in fact the fewest.  However, the Lord still expected them to obey His commandments so that they could experience the victories that the Lord desired in the promised land.  T
