His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 32:44-47

This morning’s verses speak of the legacy of faith and life. 

How can our children or the next generation receive the faith that we have in Christ, Who is life? One of the ways to lead others is through our examples. (See 1 Timothy 4:12) Do the people around us see us fighting for Christ, (See 1 Timothy 6:12) Who is life, love? One of the reasons they are not may be because we have not chosen to fight for the right cause. Our motives may have been simply to gain success, respect, and honor from others, even in Christian ministry, through our obedience to the Lord. We may have missed the most important component of His life, love, which has eternal significance. (See 1 Corinthians 13:13)

Today, let us continue to live His example of life and love. As iron sharpens iron, people around us will begin to be impacted through our example of love. (See Proverbs 27:17)
