His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 7:7-11

This morning's verses talk about His love for us that is unconditional but still expects us to respond in faith to experience victory. 

The Lord loved Israel not because they were large in number who seemed qualified to be loved because they would be able to do what the Lord wanted them to do.  They were in fact the fewest. 

However, the Lord still expected them to obey His commandments so that they could experience the victories that the Lord desired in the promised land. 

Today, let us assess our relationship with the Lord. Let us ask Him if we have hardened our hearts in any areas of our lives. Because when we receive His love, we will be empowered to love the Lord and others to impact their lives. (Ref 1 John 4:19)
