This morning's verse talks about murder, literally anger.

The Bible teaches us that anger towards people is equivalent to murder. (Ref Matthew 5:21-26) How do we deal with angry emotions internally so that they don't get released into our relationships with people?

We are a spirit being with a soul clothed in a body. (Ref 1 Thessalonians 5:23) Our souls and bodies are dependent upon the choices we make but His Spirit isn't which doesn't change. (Ref Hebrews 13:8) Since our spirits are transformed to become like His when we are saved, (Ref  2 Corinthians 5:17 ) we can place a demand on His Spirit that God is Spirit, then our souls and bodies will follow to go through the renewal process. This way, we don't focus on the emotional issues but on His Spirit Which is perfect. It is not the issue that solves the issue but the solution that solves the issue. Jesus is the solution.

Additionally, we can choose to go the extra mile when the people around us demand us to go one mile. We can experience freedom simply by going the extra mile. He created us this way so this is the truth to experience stress free joy. This doesn't make sense in our minds but this works. It is our unwillingness to give ourselves freely that keeps us self centered, frustrated and angry. (Ref Matthew 5:41)

Today, let us seek His guidance in terms of the source of our anger. We need the Word to transform us from inside out to be released from anger.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
