His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 6:16-19

This morning’s verses talk about receiving and doing what He leads us to do. 

He teaches us not to put His commandments to test. This means that we are to trust that His commandments are good for us so that we don’t need to test them. How do we know that His commandments are good for us? He declares that His plans are for our prosperity. (Ref Jeremian 29:11) 

Today, let us simply receive all of His teachings because they are all for our good, and experience the abundant life Christ died to give us. (Ref John 10:10)
