His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 6:20-25

This morning’s verses talk about His good will for us.

His commandments are for our good. He is the Creator, (Ref Genesis 1:27) love, (Ref 1 John 4:8) and knows what is good for us. What is the Word He has given to us at such a time as now? (Ref Matthew 6:11) We may not fully understand why we were given such a Word. Christ is the Prince of Peace. (Ref Isaiah 9:6) He wants to fill us with His peace. 

“As He is, so are we in this world” from 1 John 4:17 reminds us that we are like Christ and this truth may be all we need to go through all of the challenges we may be facing today. 

Today, let us remember that His Word is for our good so that we can live a life of prosperity, and to continue to live by the Word He has spoken to us today.
