His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 7:17-26

This morning's verses talk about not to be afraid, and take small steps to move forward to take new territories, to increase His influence through us.  

The Word "fear" is used in this instance which is a verb. In other words, fear is not an emotion but an action.  What matters is what we do honoring the Lord despite emotional fear. We can still continue to do what the Lord is leading us to do despite emotional fear. Have we mistaken His peace for our comfort? We may not feel comfortable when we are doing His work because of emotional fear. It is important to learn and understand what His peace is by experience. What step of faith is He leading us to take? 

He leads us by small steps. He is not in a rush although we may be. Let us faithfully take the small steps of victories. 

Today, let us continue to take the small steps of faith and see His influence expand through us.
