This morning's verses talk about the Lord giving us the power to get wealth, and that He would give us good things at the end to test us and so that we would depend on Him.  Our access to His wealth requires our faith with actions. (Ref James 2:17) We may have been faithfully following Him but the desired provision may not have come about yet. Today's verses teach us that He wants us to depend on Him each day. He promises that His provision will be there at the end of the day

This morning’s verses talk about manna, our daily bread.  He says that He allowed the Israelis to go hungry so that they may thirst not only for physical bread but most importantly for the Word of God. It is important that we first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that He can add to us what we need abundantly. (Ref Matthew 6:33) Today, let us seek Him first above all else. This morning's verses talk about not to be afraid, and take small steps to move forward to take new territories, to increase His influence through us.   The Word "fear" is used in this instance which is a verb. In other words, fear is not an emotion but an action.  What matters is what we do honoring the Lord despite emotional fear. This morning’s verses talk about the steadfast lovingkindness of our Lord. What is He speaking to us to do today so that we can experience His lovingkindness? With the foundation that we are like Jesus, as He is, so are we in this world, (Ref 1 John 4:17) we can choose to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Ref Philippians 4:8) He fills our blindspots with His Word with His lovingkindness so that we can continue to grow and breakthrough to new levels.

This morning's verses talk about His love for us that is unconditional but still expects us to respond in faith to experience victory.  The Lord loved Israel not because they were large in number who seemed qualified to be loved because they would be able to do what the Lord wanted them to do.  They were in fact the fewest.  However, the Lord still expected them to obey His commandments so that they could experience the victories that the Lord desired in the promised land.  T

This morning's verses talk about the Israelis taking territories in the promised land. The Scriptures tell us that the Israelis were faced with oppositions mightier than them. Are we faced with challenges bigger than ourselves that require His faith? We may misunderstand that when faced with problems that are bigger than ourselves, we have made a wrong choice. This morning’s verses talk about receiving and doing what He leads us to do.  He teaches us not to put His commandments to test. This means that we are to trust that His commandments are good for us so that we don’t need to test them. How do we know that His commandments are good for us? By following the Word of God.  The Word of God teaches that when our mind, will and emotions prosper, all things prosper including our health.
